Meta Description
The meta description tag is used to describe to Google what the content of the website is about. It should be placed in the location as below:-

<meta name=”description” content=”Free SEO Advice” />

<body>
The content of the website.
</body>
</html>
The meta description tag should not be left off. It is very important for Google to rank the site it needs this information.
When building the meta description try to limit the length to 25-30 words. If you put more Google will ignore the words anyway.
